Your Inevitable Aging Self
Youth may be something a lot of ppl take for granted up until they've lost it completely. i know some will think - "no i'm very conscious that i'm young and i'm enjoying my life while i can," - i don't mean it subjectively. i feel this way whenever i see men or women in their mid 40s-50s talk impatiently or snicker at the folly of an older senior citizen. i mean, do ppl not realize one day they're gonna be senile and semi-immobile w/delayed responses?? Every time i witness this "i-don't-realize-i'm-already-a-fool" snicker towards the elderly my mental jaw drops 5 inches and think to myself if one day technology can be advanced enough to prolong health and longevity, i hope they'll also have something to produce patient and loving ppl to protect these ignorant massive egos from a slow painful death to humility.

Well first off, "no i'm very conscious that i'm young and i'm enjoying my life while i can." ;P
Mkay, now that that's off my chest, yes some young people are stupid. On the flip side of that though, there are some old people that run around bitter at the world and not caring about anything but themselves and you getting out of their way. I've met some downright nasty old people.
I believe in the South Park school of thinking - that being that as long as you make fun of everything equally regardless of race, color, sex, age, etc. then it's cool.
Now see, if you're talking about laughing at old people because they're old, then that's probably just their way of saying "I'm not there yet.... really, I'm not old!!!" Yeah, and that's why you just bought a Porsche.
true - agreed. i don't believe fully that respect should be given to those b/c of age purely, but when it comes ot my grandparents i have to say i'm 100% biased. :)
