nada

do we really want to live in a balanced world where everything is fair and sensible? it would be a less emotional world if there's no duality and no need for good or bad classifications. i've always felt that the truly positive aspects of myself are stemmed from one form of hardship or another, which at the end of the day become positive experiences if the result is improvement - so is duality just a variation on perspective?? you may hate exercising while you're dragging along on the treadmill but once you're done and feel better mentally and physically - the negative feeling towards exercising becomes a positive one. same goes for situations where there's a wrong-doer and victim. who the actual "victim" is depends on which perspective you are aware of and relate to. what if a victim always victimizes? we tend to be on the side of whomever the victim is at the moment - but there may be a bigger picture we never see or realize. so does good or bad vary based on which role or perspective you are conscious of at a given time (assuming u're not all knowing:b)?

maybe we like classifying things so that we can feel like we know what we're talking about and can live in a world that feels "known" to us.. when in reality, other than for the sake of agreement and communication, we know - well, nada.

a tootsie roll to the person with the best answer.
