Met Shinhee today and officially moved in. The place is roomy and beautiful with a nice tropical yard, bundled with cool ppl and a cool cool dog. i can't ask for more. shinhee's really nice and her roommate also - they're having a housewarming bbq today for me.. (blush) such nice ppl. and so far, the few that i've encountered are a lot nicer and friendlier than the east coastians for some reason. i'm losing my roots already! i went to the fitness room last nite at the hotel and everyone in the room said "hi." when i went to rent a car, the ppl there walked with me to pick a car "i wanted and liked" and then loaded my stuff for me. i went to costco today and was lifting a tray of bottled water and this guy jumped in and told me to let him help me. btw - costco and cvs here both sell terrific collections of alcohol - wine, tequila, beer, liquor, you name it they got it. never realized how deprived we are in maryland..

I don't usually like to oversell things. When you start throwing around such powerful terms like "not bad" people might tend to think you're describing the greatest thing ever. Haha...j/k. Sounds like you're having a "not bad" start out there!

That is a rather nice setup! So if CostCo has tequila and other liquors, does that mean that they come in 2-gallon family-sized jugs?
And so how permanent is this Cali thing anyway?

i have no idea how long i'll be here, so far i've gotten anything between 3 months to years concerning my current project.
we'll see i guess - shrug.
