Went to a fellow CH member's company dinner cruise last weekend. definitely an interesting evening since finally got to meet a couple ppl that i feel like i've known for ages since i've heard so much about them. :b also saw some people there from my high school that i've not seen in ages!! it's amazing how some ppl manage to look the same after 9 years! too bad we stayed inside the whole time...it was a great day to be out on the water. mike, who ended up sitting next to me at the table turned out to be someone who's been doing ballet for ages - one of my pseudo dreams!! have to dig up the number to the ballet school in silver spring where he said there is a really good program... hopefully there'll be some good local performances.
On another note, recently met up with Miss D & kevan for HH @ cheesecake the other day. haven't seen diana for months.. always fun to catch up w/ppl u don't see every day. if they've not become weirdos, most likely you have...guilty(!) it's always pleasant to see ppl drink tea from a teapot. there's something very soothing about watching ppl pour tea that makes u feel all fuzzy and warm....we could only watch as we pounded liquor and slowly woke out of corporate brainwash, thank goodness.
So w/a CH member present, of course we couldn't end the night without a galaga showdown. ventured next door to the AMC where they were nice enough to let us enter just to play the arcade (note:to movie hoppers). of course, it didn't take me long to beat K all the way up to level 54 while he attempted his best @ 42. however, with much practice and dillgence, he can aspire to beat the best one day..
