anyone that's been vicitmized by my random thoughts book or rhyme tyme will deeply regret that i've taken up blogging. which makes sense since i'm in the current phase of looking for ppl that i can connect with. i've never given much thought to the people that people call friends til now since the open door policy worked quite well and it never really made a difference. slowly but surely, romancing stones can get boring and there is light at the end of the hermit hole! current phase: can definitely appreciate some seasoned individuals who will not find me offensive and can actually hold their own in a debate/staring contest.
This reminds me of a recent discussion with a friend about a COOL/HOT group of friends that i'm in current recruit of. the high level filter can be laid out as:
~ COOL/HOT TEAM ~
- gotta be cool or hot - at least one or the other, if both, officially in
- if cool - can't be busted (unless cooler than all the rest in the team)
- if hot - can't be completely unintelligent
- job or passion - gotta have at least one or the other
- if job - gotta be independent
- if passion - gotta be fulltime and not bummin in disguise
- can't be high maintenance or needy (note: need to be defined esp for the hot bunch)
- need one main contributing factor from sect (may need sep list for hot/cool)
- need at least a 6(?) month trial to weed out posers – if pass cool/hotness consistently – inducted
- during poser filter – candidate cannot know bout the criteria or filtering process
- ability to keep secrets
- need to be willing to travel
- no significant others or siblings allowed (only the cooler/hotter one in the pair will be picked)
- start any drama – rehab
current definition of "cool":
~ability to contribute to lively conversation (or)
~thought provoking (or)
~have eccentric interests
somewhat def of "hot"
~ability to be fashionable or look good on a consistent basis
Seeking potentials ASAP.

I'm the "friend" of which she speaks...who first saw the list. I didn't make the initial cut. I changed my name to Jelly, and now I'm in! Woohoo!
